Danping He obtains the 2019 Young Scientist Award of International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society (ACES)

Sep 01, 2019

From August 8th to 11th, 2019, the 2019 International Conference of International Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society was held in Nanjing. The conference was hosted by ACES and Nanjing University of Science and Technology, together with other universities, research institutes and companies. In the conference, Dr. Danping He from the State Key Laboratory of Rail Transit Control and Safety of BJTU, obtained the "Young Scientist Award" after being recommended and selected by the award committee of the conference. ACES is the abbreviation of Applied Computational Electromagnetics Society. With a history of 34 years, ACES is one of the largest and most influential professional associations for computational electromagnetics in the world. The association owns its own ACES journal (SCI search) and ACES conference (EI search). It is headquartered in California, USA. Dr. Danping He has long been engaged in the field of radio wave propagation and channel. Her main research outcomes include ray tracing modeling methods and simulation platforms (http://www.raytracer.cloud), fundamental theoretical research on radio wave propagation and channel for 5G and future broadband mobile network planning and optimization. She has published more than 50 academic papers and has participated as a main contributor in the 300 GHz channel model standard, the physical layer standard (IEEE 802.15.3d-2017), and the standardization of the ITU-R mixed channel model.
